Specialized in the construction of quartet’s instruments : violins, violas and cello, I often use models from Italian violin makers of the 17th and 18th to build my own instruments. Those models are personified, according to the characteristics of the wood and to obtain the best acoustic result. All my instruments are totally handmade ones. Following the Italian tradition from Cremona, I integrate to that one quantum physics princess. That method allows me to finely perceive the characteristics intrinsic of each piece of wood, its own acoustic and consider the best way to work it and let it reveal its best sound. Each instrument is unique.

Two pieces of wood to give birth to a violin. I like particularly choose ones I will work. The spruce I use come essentially from Val di Fiemme in Italy where I went to select my tables. I pay extremely attention to the maple and others essences, I only use woods of excellent quality.

In 2018, I won the price of art handmade work for the construction of the viola “ Karayel”, inspired of Maggini’s model.
